| | Makky Sandra Jaya ialah Senior Economist IEI. Doktor lulusan Geophysical Institute - University of Karlsruhe – Germany ini ahli di bidang geophysicist dan cukup lama mengasah ilmu di Jerman. Diawali saat lulus dari ITS Surabaya Jurusan Fisika FMIPA, kemudian menempuh Program Master (Dipl. Phys) di Geophysical Institute - University of Karlsruhe – Germany pada tahun 1993 – 1994, yang kemudian dilanjutkan program Doktoral di universitas yang sama tahun 1995 – 1997 dengan disertasi: “Imaging Reflection Seismic Data using the Method of Velocity Continuation”’. Selain itu, benyak mengikuti berbagai course dan trainee di Jerman.
Karirnya lebih banyak sebagai konsultan di bidang geophysicist pada berbagai perusahaan nasional maupun multinasional, seperti Pertamina-EP Jakarta, INPEX Masela Ltd., ConocoPhilips, dan PGSC1 Jakarta. Sebelumnya juga aktif sebagai anggota tim konsultan di almamaternya University of Karlsruhe. Bidang keahliannya meliputi: software development, visualization & Graphics, seismic commercial software, dan operating systems.
